Sales Position | Outside Sales – QMS Guide

You will be an integral part of the engine to help grow a quickly expanding software and consulting firm in Houston. We work with companies in a wide range of industries, which means we need an agile learner who doesn’t shy away from a challenge. Prior successes selling software, consulting services and packages, and/or auditing services to C-level and quality managers in mid-size companies is a must. You will be finding business, developing relationships, selling consultatively, and closing sales.
Schedule: Full Time
Pay: Base and Commission
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales
- Experience with CRM platform
- Experience in the quality industry with knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and API Q1
What your day will look like:
You will proactively contact prospective warm leads via multiple outbound methods including phone, email, and social media. You will also perform ongoing follow-up actions from previous contact attempts.
Management will supply leads as they are available. You must identify opportunities in your existing networks and create a new, expanded network to operate within.
You will use your social media network to promote the business and drive brand recognition. Also, you may be required to attend industry specific events to attract and obtain new business. This could require travel.
You will be required to log all communication, including attempts only, into the CRM and you will have a daily sales meeting to review conversion rates and sales successes.
As you build up the company’s book of business, working existing leads and clients, you are required to generate and foster referral-based business.
